The LSG is keen to help families who may incur additional costs in educating a child in the Suzuki method where the child has Special Educational Needs (SEN) or a Disability or Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) or where a parent has a disability which may severely impact on the child’s progress in learning.
Recognizing that children with SEND/SpLD may require extra lesson time or special material to help with lessons, the SEND Grant is available to cover such extra costs and granted on a yearly basis. All grant applications must be supported by relevant evidence and receipts and are awarded to support a child with learning on one instrument only. It is not means-tested. It is not available in the first year (Pre-Twinklers). Applications can be made by downloading the application below. For any additional information, please contact the SEND Administrator, Myrto Rochat on myrto.rochat@gmail.com
