Vaida Farid began playing the violin at the age of six at Kaunas Naujalis Music Gymnasium. She graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, focusing on performance and chamber ensemble music. Vaida has a varied career in both performing and teaching fields; she performs with a variety of orchestras and chamber music ensembles. In 2014, Vaida moved to London where she has continued teaching and performing. In 2018, she achieved level 5 Senior Teacher status at the British Suzuki Institute with Felicity Lipman. Now she is currently teaching violin by Suzuki method at schools in London as well as performing with orchestras and ensembles.
