Welcome to the London Suzuki Group

Charlotte grew up with the Suzuki Method, learning the violin from the age of three with her mother, Heather Clemson, who studied with Dr Suzuki in Japan. During her teens, Charlotte played in quartets, ensembles and orchestras, including the National Youth Orchestra, before going on to read Music at Oxford University. After graduating, she worked in the management of the NYO and London Symphony Orchestra, and trained to be a Suzuki teacher. Charlotte teaches in the Fulham / Putney area, and as part of the Dulwich Suzuki Group, as well as on a number of Suzuki courses and workshops. She is delighted to be able to pass on the joy of learning the violin to children and their families.
